Ongoing collection of chiefly promotional posters from various parts of the world, primarily Washington State, from World War I through the present. Included are posters promoting festivals, particularly those held in Seattle, Washington; exhibitions, principally those held at the University of Washington in Seattle; sports and performance events; conferences and lectures; and organizations such as student groups at the University of Washington. Posters promoting social and political viewpoints, such as propaganda posters from World War I and World War II, are also included.
